I tried burning in safe mode, and still it didn't work. I burned the disks at 2.4x as I'm supposed to. Win XP sp3 on a half-decent computer with a Crucial M4 250GB SSD (I burned several of them at work using ImgBurn, and they worked fine, so I know the problem isn't the discs) I don't know where they are made there's nothing on the back of the paper that I can see that tells where they were made.
Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x speed 50 pack purchased from New Egg several years ago. The drive couldn't be dirty, it's brand new. I looked for firmware updates for this drive, but it's new enough that I don't think there is one. a brand new Asus BW-16D1HT (blu-ray), purchased from New Egg last month. Can you look over this and tell me what's up?
I read a number of the other similar threads, and the guides, and they didn't help. Yes, I'm having trouble burning DL DVD's, and I can't figure out why.
